Who's The Enemy - Taklitim Holim

Tel Aviv’s Kids Insane are releasing “Who’s The Enemy“, their brand new six track EP that was produced by Useless ID‘s Yotam Ben Horin. The EP marks the start of a new decade for the band and follows from a handful of releases, including their debut album “All Over” and  a collaboration with Italy’s Slander. A decade can be a tipping point for a band, you can slip away, or soften your sound, but in Kids Insane‘s case it signals a renewed commitment from the band and offers songs on politics, relationships and the inner scene politics of a punk band from Tel Aviv.

The opening track on “Who’s The Enemy“, “Won’t Stop Me Now“, is a full blooded clarion call from a band that aren’t compromising on any level, and aren’t going to let anything get in their way, at least once the current pandemic is just a bad memory, this is swiftly followed by ‘I Can’t Say‘ and ‘Room For Terror‘, two further short blasts that cross fat wreck melodies with the roots of hardcore. Less than three minutes in and we’re Halfway through “Who’s The Enemy“, the assault continues with the staccato attack of the title track and ‘Northern Bite‘, the EP’s finalè is ‘Death To Love‘, that features Yotam Ben Horin on vocals, that makes the perfect conclusion to this whirlwind of an EP that delivers six tracks in around six minutes.

Who’s The Enemy” is a EP that asks exactly that question, it encourages you to think about who is manipulating you and who has your best interests at heart and maybe, just maybe, that instead of fighting amongst ourselves we should turn that energy towards the real enemy if we are to see true justice in society. Kids Insane, like pretty much every band out there, will return to touring once it is safe to do so and in the meantime they are working on their sophomore album, but for now “Who’s The Enemy” is the sound of a band heading into their second decade with a sense of optimism and a desire for unity and social justice

Who’s The Enemy” can be pre-ordered via Taklitim Holim here and will be available via digital platforms from the 1st March
