Belgian pop punks For I Am have shared a video for P.I.G.O.T.R.Y., the latest track to be featured from their 2019 full length Late Bloomers. The track is a word play on George Orwell’s Animal Farm and vocalist Hanne Terweduwe had this to say about the song:

“It’s sad to have to acknowledge the fact that we’re headed towards a right-wing, conservative world, led by people who make the masses believe they’ll save the world by shouting the loudest of all. So many people blame others for their own misfortune and so many people cannot fathom that diversity is the exact thing that’ll save us. We need differences, we need as many views on the world, on what’s wrong and what’s right as possible, we all need each other. We’re not “us” versus “them”. We’re the human race. George Orwell was way ahead of his time when he wrote Animal Farm. Even back then, he got it completely right. But I and –fortunately – many others refuse to live in such a dystopia where “we’re all equal, but some of us are more equal than the others”… Let’s make a stand. Let’s speak out. Let’s put a stop to bigotry, misogyny, racism, etc. Let’s be there for those who need it most and discard our own privileged problems for just one second.”
