The Outlines Reveal ‘Track By Track’ Of ‘House Of Thieves’ EP
Despatching slamming punk thrusts and engaging hooks, UK trio The Outlines are planning their attack across the UK with the release of their new EP “House Of Thieves” that is out tomorrow, Friday 28th February. The threesome are now ready to branch out to the UK and beyond with an EP that boasts three slabs of infectious punk rock that takes in everyone from The Sex Pistols and The Clash to Green Day. Ahead of the EP’s release The Outlines have given The Punk Site an exclusive ‘track by track’ breakdown of the “House Of Thieves” EP.

The Outlines “House Of Thieves” EP ‘Track By Track’
‘Man Down‘
The opening track titled ‘Man Down‘ is a song about the struggle through hard times from the perspective of a developing leader. The song takes place on a ship where the characters are trying to keep afloat whilst battling sods law, on a journey to find the light of day.
‘Mind Trip‘
‘Mind Trip‘ takes something negative and turns it into something that you can dance and shout to. Pleasure seeking, self-delusion and horrible consequences are brought forward in this song. Backed with an eccentric push that has a little hint of the pistols, this vibe is exactly what the doctor ordered.
‘House Of Thieves‘
The finishing song on which the EP is titled after ‘House of Thieves‘ is about meeting a man that intends to influence your thoughts, so that you will join him in his house of thieves. This is a place where people have turned sour and are plotting against the society they have fallen from.
