Auckland, New Zealand’s Swallow The Rat have released their debut full-length “Leaving Room” via Shifting Sounds Records. The band have also shared the music video for the album’s opening track ‘New Cross‘. “Leaving Room” is a compelling tangle of driving post-punk rhythms and raw, shoegaze-tinged guitars, with Swallow The Rat expertly using dense atmospherics to build tension and dynamic releases.
