Hailing from the heart of Corporate Capitalism, Last Ditch Effort are bringing back the punk rock sound and attitude of the Punk-O-Rama era with their new four track EP, Twenty-25, that is available via streaming platforms. The EP delivers a contemporary social commentary on the prevailing threats of Neo-Fascism in the hope that heavy, angry, inspired punk music should work to combat the complacency and degradation of the working class. Inspired by the heyday of Epitaph Records & Fat Wreck Chords, Last Ditch Effort hopes to develop a message of not just political despair, but also a feeling of connectedness and camaraderie for the downtrodden masses, living within a system that is designed to prey on their needs and insecurities.
“As an Educator and a Historian, I felt it was my duty to write a contemporary album detailing the fear, hate, and unease that we are all feeling today. However, it is not meant to be an album of surrender, but of inspiration to fight back and create the communities you want to see. This shit is not fucking normal, and it will not be normalized. Listen to this EP and get fucking pissed!” (frontman Jesse Coggins)
