Get The Fuck Outta Dodge Release Lockdown Covers Album

Sheffield’s Get The Fuck Outta Dodge have just released their “These Songs Aren’t Ours” covers album that is now available as a limited edition home made cassette and as a ‘name-your-price’ download via Bandcamp. “These Songs Aren’t Ours” started out with the aim of recording a cover of a song by The Cramps, it soon spiralled into a full blown remote home recording bonanza that resulted in fifteen versions of songs you may know and love, including tracks by Joan Jett, The Cramps, The Misfits, Black Flag, Elvis Costello, Fuzzbox, Joe Jackson, Rollins Band and The Chats. “These Songs Aren’t Ours” is an album that traverses all genres and times to take in some of the musical tapestry that knits Get The Fuck Outta Dodge together.
