Furrowed Brow Announce New Single ‘Punctual Punk’

Manchester’s Furrowed Brow have announced the they will release their new two track single ‘Punctual Punk‘ on the 7th April via Spotify, Bandcamp and all major streaming services. The A-side features ‘Punctual Punk‘, a curious parable about a rendez-vous with a tardy reprobate who, for once, fails to be late. The song clatters home in less than 2 minutes like the outrageous surf-shimmy post-punk lovechild of Magazine and The B-52’s, an offbeat lockdown video featuring the five members of Furrowed Brow will accompany the release. The B-side sees Furrowed Brow hit new levels of sardonic sauciness on the stomping, 70s-glam influenced B-side ‘The Narrative of Hugh Gordon Pym‘, breathing new life into Edgar Allen Poe through the prism of coronavirus and BBC Lunchtime News. Furrowed Brow are set to return to playing live with a headline show at Manchester’s Castle Hotel on the 4th September.
