Johny Skullknuckles (The Kopek Millionaires / The Dead Beats / Goldblade) continues his musical adventures with The SoDa Poppers and their brand new…
“The Rise And Fall Of Blasphemouth” is the debut solo album from Evil Blizzard‘s Filthydirty that is set to be released in April 2021. The album was initially comprised of unused Evil Blizzard songs that weren’t really suitable for the band. Some didn’t work out at all, others disfigured into some tracks here. Other disasters belched themselves out as the process unfolded. The original recordings range from 2015-20 but the album itself was recorded in the midst of the claustrophobia and paranoia of Spring 2020. All tracks were produced, recorded and mixed by Filthydirty, so in places this could be described sonically as ‘enthusiastic’. The professional company who mastered this said certain songs were ‘as loud as it’s possible to be while still sounding like music’, so in those bits where you think “Is it supposed to sound like that?” the answer is “Yes”. “The Rise And Fall Of Blasphemouth” can be pre-ordered via Bandcamp here
