The Downrights Sign To Parkway Sound Records, Enter The Studio In April
New Jersey’s The Downrights announced that they have signed to Parkway Sound Records, and will be entering the studio in April to record their upcoming full length with David Hendrik at The Pilot Studio in NJ.
On returning to the studio, lead vocalist and bassist Kieran Tintle states:
“We’ve all been playing music in various bands for years and I think we all kind of feel like this album is the culmination of all that experience. I know it sounds trite, but one things we’ve always tried to do as a band is push the envelope. We’re going places on this record that we’ve never gone before, both musically and lyrically, and I think we’re all stoked to get to work.”
This album will mark the band’s first label release, as a follow up to their last EP Into The Dark, which Parkway Sound will be re-issuing to mark the signing.
