Tours: Bad Religion (Southern Continents Tour)

Southern California punk rock stalwarts Bad Religion have dropped details regarding upcoming tour dates that will see the band journey to the southern hemisphere for what will include their first tour of the Indonesian archipelago. The tour will cover twelve cities starting in Jakarta Indonesia on September 20, 2011 and conclude in Rio de Janeiro on October 15.  The group is also slated to hop over to Australia as part of the Soundwave Festival.

Front man and PHD holding evolutionary biologist Greg Graffin voices his excitement to be visiting the same region known to have inspired renowned explorer, naturalist and evolutionist Alfred Russel:

“Although I’m taking time away from my lectures in evolution this fall, it will be a truly inspirational journey… I’m going to be thinking of A.R. Wallace when I’m looking out at all those Indonesian punk fans.”
