It’s that time of year again and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones are gearing up to throw the biggest party of the holiday season, the annual Hometown Throwdown, that has become a tradition for the band and fans alike. To make the 19th annual Hometown Throwdown even more special The Mighty Mighty Bosstones are giving the show an international vibe, inviting support bands that includes Jamaica’s The Skatalites and Canada’s The Planet Smashers on December 28, Australia’s The Pokers and Japan’s Peelander-Z on December 29 and the UK’s The Skints and Mexico’s Los Kung-Fu Monkeys on December 30. The Mighty Mighty Bosstones will be releasing a limited edition single in the new year of their version of the song What the World Needs Now Is Love, featuring an unreleased original song, I Won’t Go Out Like That, on the B-side.

Less Than Jake, The Skints and Mariachi El Bronx have announced plans to tour the UK this October. The tour has been dubbed the ‘Fireball – Fuelling The Fire Tour’, and is marketed as “a celebration of punk rock, ska, reggae.

UK reggae-dub upstarts The Skints have announced plans for their third album. The disc will be titled FM has Following the announcement of their signing with celebrated label Easy Star Records. The album serves as the band’s tribute to radio culture. Pre-orders will be live on February 3rd.
