‘Dr. Demento Covered In Punk’ Set For Release On Jan 12th

Basic CMYKJanuary 12th 2018 will see the release of the two hour demented punk extravaganza, Dr Demento Covered In Punk. The album will feature an eclectic mix of artists including The Misfits, The Vandals, Osaka Popstar, Adam West, Joan Jett And The Blackhearts, William Shatner, Shonen Knife and many more, who contribute over thirty unreleased cover versions of the songs famously heard on the airwaves of the legendary Dr Demento show. The album is hosted by Dr. Demento himself and features guest ID spots and bumper segments to create an unconventional take on Dr. Demento‘s radio show.

Shonen Knife Add Dates to US Tour

Shonen Knife 2Legendary Japanese pop-rock queens Shonen Knife have added a number of dates to their upcoming US tour starting in September. The band are back on North American soil promoting their new album Overdrive, released back in April via Good Charamel Records.

Shonen Knife New Album Details / US Tour

Shonen KnifeLegendary Japanese indie rock band Shonen Knife have released details of their upcoming full length, titled Overdrive. This is the group’s first record since 2012’s Pop Tune and will drop on April 15th via Good Charamel Records. In support of the record, the all girl outfit will hit the road for a series of dates across the US later this year.

Shonen Knife To Release English Version of Free Time

Japanese pop-punk, all-girl band Shonen Knife will be releasing the English-language version of Free Time on August 31, 2010 through Good Charamel Records, founded by Robby Takac of The Goo Goo Dolls.  Furthermore, on the same day, Good Charamel will also release for the first time, English-language, vinyl and digital versions of 2007’s fun! fun! fun!.
