Los Angeles punk band Runaway Kids (formerly Betrayal) have posted a lyric video for their song Better Days. This is the title track from their upcoming EP, due to drop on June 23rd via MediaSkare Records.
Vocalist Gage Armstrong has spoken to Substream about the track:
‘Better Days’ started as a letter I was writing to my mom, letting her know how she had affected my life with the poor decisions that she decided to make for hers. Then when Sean (guitarist) and I decided it was time to go into the studio it was the only thing I could think of to put on our first song. As if I was finally getting what I needed to say off of my chest.”

LA punk band Betrayal have changed their name to Runaway Kids and announced that a new EP is due for release in summer 2015 via MediaSkare Records. A statement from the band is below:
Today marks a brand new chapter for us as a band. In the past few years, we’ve gone through so many difficult but ultimately amazing changes to bring us to where we are today. Calling ourselves Betrayal just doesn’t feel right anymore – our songs and style of music have made a complete change from anything previous from Betrayal, not to mention that Sean is the only lasting original member. Runaway Kids represents a new chapter that we are overly excited to start and have you all be apart of. We would like to thank everyone who has stuck around and come to shows, let us stay at their house, shared amazing memories with us and supported our band in any way and we hope you all continue to support us on this new journey.
