Manchester Punk Festival Confirms First Bands For 2018

MPF 18 Oct 17The Manchester Punk Festival has announced the first wave of bands for 2018 when the festival takes place on the 19th to 21st April 2018 across six Manchester city centre venues. Now in it’s fourth year, the festival aims to promote the best UK and overseas bands on an affordable line up in good and accessible venues, and today they have confirmed that Propagandhi and Svetlanas will be amongst those heading over to the Manchester Punk Festival in 2018.

Kamikaze Girls Release ‘Seafoam’ Album

Kamikaze Girls SeafoamSeafoam is the full length follow up to Kamikaze Girls acclaimed debut EP, Sad. Exploring wider musical influences from shoegaze, fuzz-pop and the heavier side of the genre spectrum they call home, Seafoam is a record that feels like a weight being lifted and a focused, sharpened quill being shifted to new targets. Kamikaze Girls are set to play a series of festivals in Europe this summer, including 2000 Trees and Truck Festival, and are confirmed to play FEST 16 in Florida this October, the duo is currently out on a UK co-headline tour with Nervus.

Kamikaze Girls Reveal Video For ‘Berlin’

Kamikaze Girls SeafoamKamikaze Girls are set to release their forthcoming debut album Seafoam on the 9th June 2017 and the band have now released Berlin, the first single from the album. The Leeds-based duo are joining Gnarwolves on their forthcoming May 2017 UK tour alongside Rough Hands and Thrownups. The band will also be on tour in June with Watford indie-punks Nervus as well as a string of festival appearances.

Kamikaze Girls Announce UK Tour With Gnarwolves

Kamikaze Girls SeafoamLeeds-based duo Kamikaze Girls have announced they will add to their increasingly busy live schedule for this year as they join Gnarwolves on their forthcoming May 2017 UK tour alongside Rough Hands and Thrownups. The band also recently revealed a stint of June 2017 UK tour dates with Watford indie-punks Nervus as well as a string of festival appearances including The Great Escape, 2000 Trees and Truck Festival to name just a few. Manchester Punk Festival Confrims Latest Additions For 2017

mpf-17-nov-16The Manchester Punk Festival is taking place again in 2017, between the 20th and 22nd April, across a number of venues in Manchester, UK’s City Centre, the festival has now added the energetic punk rock of Canada’s Brutal Youth, the politically charged punk rock of Essex’s The Filaments, the melodic hardcore of Liverpool punkers Chief, the acoustic pop punk of Onsind, the 80’s hardcore of Throwing Stuff and the anarchic folk punk of Matilda’s Scoundrels to the 2017 line up, as well as TosserladBobby Funk, Rash Decision, Iron Drugs, Grotbags, Dirty Twisters, Muskets, Lineout and One Hidden Frame being added to the already impressive bill.

Manchester Punk Festival Volume 11 Released Via Bandcamp

mpf-17-nov-16The Manchester Punk Festival is taking place again in 2017, between 20th and 22nd April, across a number of venues in Manchester, UK’s City Centre. This is the second volume of the compilations that precede the festival, that will feature all of the bands that are appearing in 2017, has been released. The Manchester Punk Festival Volume Eleven features Shot, The Toasters, Edward in Venice, The Deadites, Nosebleed, AOS3, A Great Notion, Crywank, Thee Infidels, The Human Project, Stoj Snak, Brightr, El Escapado, Nervus and Black Star Dub Collective . The previous ten volumes of the Manchester Punk Festival compilations, that cover the 2015 to 2017 line ups, are also still available as name your price downloads.

Manchester Punk Festival Confirms More Bands For 2017

mpf-17-nov-16The Manchester Punk Festival has announced the addition of a whole host of exciting bands to an already stellar line up for MPF2017 in April next year. Returning to the UK for the first time in seven years will be punk rock legends Strike Anywhere, Australian hardcore punks Clowns have been added to the bill and they’ve also got local dub heroes Black Star Dub Collective adding something new to the line up. Nosebleed, Revenge Of The Psychotronic Man and The Deadites have returned after triumphant appearances at MPF2016, The Human Project and The Murderburgers, who both last appeared in 2015, have returned, with the latter band headlining the Thursday night. Visiting from mainland Europe are melodic punkers Despite Everything and Venturas, skacore specialists Thee Infidels, and also all the way from the USA El Escapado are playing for the first time. They are also welcoming two bands who both originate in Watford, in the form of Nervus and Great Cynics, as well as Eastbourne’s Brightr and Scotland’s Billy Liar.
