Salt Lake City, UT alt-shoegaze outfit No Sun have joined the roster of Cleveland based indie label Mayfly Records. The quartet are currently working on their debut LP which is due for a summer release on their new label.
They have also announced a short run of shows in the Northwest US, check out the details below.
Lume’s debut LP Perennial Phase is now out on digital arrangement and vinyl, released by Mayfly Records. This Chicago trio take inspiration from post-hardcore, indie rock, slowcore and shoegaze to create a slow to mid-tempo sound.
On Feburary 19 Lume will play a Chicago Record Release show at Downstairs with Estates, Sough, and Droughts.
Richmond, VA shoegaze/rock outfit Keep have signed on with Mayfly Records. The band’s first release for their new label will be their Psychorama EP, the follow up to last year’s self released EP, Hypnosis for Sleep which is due to drop in the autumn.

Baltimore trio, Whenskiesaregray, are back with the follow up to their well-received 2013 EP, What Can Not Be Reversed, produced by Pianos Become The Teeth guitarist Mike York. The band’s new self-titled LP has a slight change musically from their prior release where the band focused more on screamo/melodic hardcore. Baltimore hardcore outfit Whenskiesaregray have announced a series of shows across the US and Canada kicking off next week. The trio are out in support of their upcoming self-titled full length, due to drop on March 31st via Mayfly Records.

Baltimore, MD based Whenskiesaregray has announced that they have joined Mayfly Records. The label plans to release the band’s new LP this Winter which will serve as a follow-up to their recent 7″, What Can Not be Reversed, on Driftwood Records.
The band has announced that it will be touring with stops at I Got Brains Fest this weekend and The FEST 12 in the Fall. Additional dates are expected to follow.
The Michigan native hardcore band True Love has joined the ranks of Mayfly Records, and will print their debut, A Floral Note, later this summer on 7″ vinyl. It is currently streaming (and also available for download) on Bandcamp.
The band features current and former members of Face Reality, Damages, and Freedom, and should appeal to fans of American Nightmare, The Hope Conspiracy, and Carry On.
Mayfly Records will be releasing a split EP from Boston’s Cerce and Los Angeles’ Stresscase. The EP will be a limited pressing of 500, with 350 on translucent blue vinyl and 150 on clear.
