I The Mighty Announce New EP; Stream First Track

I the MightySan Francisco progressive indie rock outfit I The Mighty has announced details for their next EP.  The EP will be titled Oil In Water, and is set to drop on September 2, 2016 via Equal Vision Records.  The band last released their Connector LP in 2015.

Coinciding with the announcement, the band has premiered “Andrew’s Song,” which can be heard below.

Tours: I the Mighty / Dayshell / Artifex Pereo / Picturesque

I The MightySan Francisco rockers I the Mighty have made known that they will be heading on tour this Fall. The band will be supported by Dayshell, Artifex Pereo, and Picturesque. Lead singer Brent Walsh comments on the road to the upcoming tour:
“We’re beyond excited to announce our Fall 2016 headline tour with support from Dayshell, Artifex Pereo, and Picturesque. This last year has been a dream, from touring U.K. for the first time and the U.S. alongside bands such as Coheed & Cambria, Glassjaw, and Pierce The Veil. We couldn’t think of a better way to finish off 2016 before we go away for a little bit and work on a new album for you all.”

I The Mighty Full Album Stream ‘Connector’ / Announce Headline Tour

I The MightySan Francisco progressive indie rock outfit I The Mighty are streaming their new album Connector in full ahead of the official drop date of June 2nd via Equal Vision Records. The band will be hitting the road later this month in support of the LP on a co-headlining tour with Hail The Sun, Too Close to Touch. Vocalist Brent Walsh spoke to Kerrang! and said this about writing the record:

“We never sat down and had the talk about, ‘What type of record do we want to make? What direction do we want to take this band?’…To be honest, we never have. We simply wrote a bunch of songs, picked our favorites and made the record we wanted to make.”

Video: I The Mighty – Love Your Sin

I The MightyI The Mighty has premiered a new music video.  The video features the song “Love Your Sin” from their recent three-song digital release, available now via Equal Vision Records.  The EP additionally includes two new studio recordings of full-band acoustic renditions of “The Dreamer” and “Speak To Me”, which originally appeared on the band’s Karma Never Sleeps EP and recent debut full-length album, Satori, respectively.

Tours: Say Anything / Eisley / HRVRD / Northern Faces / I The Mighty

SayAnythingSay Anything has announced that they will be heading out for the Say Anything Rarities and More Tour in June.  The tour includes support from Eisley, HRVRD, Northern Faces and I the Mighty. The band is currently supporting their latest collection of remastered B-sides and rarities All My Friends Are Enemies: Early Rarities, released earlier this year in January.
