Dead Broke Rekerds released a compilation in the final days of 2015. The compilation is titled Year Of The Goat and includes contributions from The Soviettes, Basement Benders, Tenement, Iron Chic, and Spraynard to name a few.

NYC indie punk band Deep Pockets have posted a new track online. Nice Life will feature on the band’s upcoming 7″ EP due for release later this year via Dead Broke Rekerds. The track represents the quartet’s first new material since 2013’s debut LP You Feel Shame.

Dead Broke Rekerds & Square of Opposition Records have announced that they will release a remastered reissue of Spraynard‘s debut album, Cut and Paste on 12″ vinyl. The album has been out of print since 2010 and was re-mastered by the Carl Saff of Saff Mastering.
Limited copies will be available on Ketchup Red and Mustard Yellow colored vinyl for Preorder.
Iron Chic and Low Culture are now streaming a song each on Noisey. Preorders for the new split 7″ are up now from Dead Broke and Dirt Cult.

Long Island’s long-standing, Fellow Project have released a new song premiering on The Runout. Their new EP, Basic Axemanship 10″, is out this Winter on Dead Broke & MoneyFire Records. Fest edition vinyl will be available at The Fest in Gainesville.

Athens, NY indie/grunge duo Cancers are streaming their debut album Fatten the Leeches in it’s entirety via their soundcloud page. The record has just been released via their own Kandy Kane Label while vinyl and cassette releases are being handled by Dead Broke Rekerds. Fatten The Leeches was recorded in Seattle with Jack Endino, known as the ‘Godfather of Grunge’ due to his work with the likes of Nirvana, Hole and Babes in Toyland.

Athens, GA fuzz-pop duo Cancers are streaming Be Cool, the lead single from their upcoming full length, Fatten The Leeches. The album is due for release on September 16th via their own Kandy Kane Records, with the vinyl and cassette releases being handled by Dead Broke Rekerds. The band worked with grunge legend Jack Endino (who’s CV including the likes of Nirvana, Soundgarden and Babes in Toyland) on Fatten the Leeches in order to add a new edge to their sound. Seattle’s kings of crusty pop-punk Murmurs are back with their first official full-length album, Bound. Last year saw the vinyl release of the bands’ debut EP Fly With The Unkindness, released by Dead Broke Rekerds and now the band are back with Bound. Drawing from earlier pop-punk influences (ranging from the East Bay to the Northwest), the band pushes further on with their dark, urgent & poppy melodic tones, all the while churning it up with a chunk of fuzzed-out grunge rock.

Dead Broke Rekerds & Dirt Cult Records are streaming the new split 12″ LP from Carbondale, IL’s Autonomy and Boston’s No Sir, I Wont! The Lost Split 12″ LP was recovered from the vaults by Dead Broke & Dirt Cult Records and is available now on red vinyl with 50 in the first pressing.

Austin, TX punks Prince have announced a new 7″ which is due to drop later this year via Dead Broke Rekerds. Beach Slang, the Philadelphia based punk band featuring members of Weston, Ex-Friends and Crybaby have just released their debut EP, Who Would Ever Want Anything So Broken? via Dead Broke Rekerds.
The bands sound is reminiscent of late 80’s american punk rock a la The Replacements or early Goo Goo Dolls and you can stream the EP in its entirety over on their bandcamp page.

NY indie/pop/rock band Failure’s Union has released a full album stream of their third full length,Tethering. The release hit the street last week with Dead Broke Rekerds offering up the vinyl edition.

Manchester, UK punk band Stay Clean Jolene are streaming the tracks from their recent self titled 7″ release via Drunken Sailor Records. The band was formed in 2012 from the ashes of The Great St Louis and The Leif Ericsson. Their debut full length is due out in 2014 and will be released in the US by Dead Broke Rekerds (according to their twitter feed).
