From the suburban kitchen of Northern poet Elise Hadgraft, emerges corporationpop, a drunken DIY romp through spoken word, electroclash and synthpop with a knowing nod to St. Jarvis Cocker. The Chester Road Demos‘ encompasses two weeks work and fans can be assured that her live performances will be every bit as bitter. Elise is taking corporationpop on the road and she has announced she will be supporting Dutch Uncles at the Chorlton Socialist Club on December 15th.

corporationpop is the new venture by acclaimed poet Elise Hadgraft, sick of being artistically ripped off and relegated to the role of ‘feminist poet girlfriend’ she started up a new project armed only with Yamaha synths and Korg Volca beats. With corporationpop Elise has taken a unique direction with a distinctly DIY attitude, and the first track, Vintage Lingerie, is the genesis of a project that will be taken on the road to support the resurgence of female fronted music. corporationpop‘s Facebook page can be found here
