On June 4, Side One Dummy and Vans will be releasing the annual Vans Warped Tour 2013 Compilation. The double CD will contain fifty tracks from a wide range of the performers on the tour this summer and is currently available for pre-order now.
SideOneDummy Records has announced that they will be releasing special collectors item for fans of Gaslight Anthem. The collection is titledThe Gaslight Anthem Singles Collection: 2008-2011, and is set for a June 18, 2013 release.The limited edition wooden collector’s chest will come loaded with nine 7’’ 45’s featuring the band’s singles and rare acoustic & live tracks, a download card and a 45 RPM adapter. Skinny Lister are not your average, modern day, gentrified English folk group. The London based five-piece combine traditional folk music with the energy of rambunctious free spirited rum fueled party music. While on tour in the United States with Rusted Root their music caught the ear of Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman who introduced the band to the Los Angeles based independent record label SideOneDummy Records.
The band will be releasing their first single “Rollin’ Over” on October 23, 2012 digitally and their debut album Forge & Flagon is slated for release in the United States in 2013.The video for “Rollin’ Over” can be seen here.

The Smoking Popes will be reissuing there major label debut Born To Quit on SideOneDummy Records October 23rd. The album was originally release on Capitol Records.
The reissue will come with a deluxe package featuring new artwork, additional liner notes from Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio, Joe Shanahan of Chicago’s Metro and comedian Kyle Kinane. The album will also have an analysis of each track by front man Josh Caterer as well as two new bonus tracks: a cover of Willie Nelson‘s “Angel Flying Too Close To The Ground” and the previously unreleased “Blanket In The Park“. The album will be available on CD as well as limited edition red and blue vinyl. The red vinyl can be bought at the SideOneDummy website while the blue will be available on the tour.
The Smoking Popes will be touring the states during October and November. To celebrate the re-release they will be playing Born To Quit in it’s entirety every show as well as a set from the remainder of The Popes‘ catalogue. A list of dates can be seen below.
SideOneDummy Records has announced that they will be releasing brand new Complete Control Session featuring Samiam. The session was recorded live at Swing House studios in Hollywood and was mixed by Chris Beeble and Bill Stevenson at the Blasting Room. The session will see an October 23, 2012 release via SideOneDummy Records on a limited 12″ vinyl, with digital distribution being handled by via Hopeless Records.

Big D and the Kids Table has released brand new music video. The video features the song “One Day” from their 2011 full length, For The Damned, The Dumb, AndThe Delirious.
The band currently plans to release a double album entitled Built Up From Nothing – The D-Sides & Strictly Dub and includes rarities and outtakes spanning the band’s 1996 to 2012 history. The album is due out everywhere digitally and on vinyl on October 2nd, 2012 via SideOneDummy Records with the CD version to be available at the bands merch table.
Philadelphian atmospheric rockers Restorations have signed joined the SideOneDummy Records family. Signer/Guitarist Jon Loudon expresses the band’s excitement:

The band’s sophomore EP is expected out in early 2013, with work beginning in Miner Street Studios, Philadelphia on August 15th with producer Jon Low (Kurt Vile, Dr. Dog, mewithoutYou).

Pennsylvania natives Title Fight have debuted a brand new song. The track is titled “Head In The Ceiling Fan” and is from their upcoming full length, Floral Green, due out September 18, 2012. The album will follow their previous effort, Shed, released via Side One Dummy back in 2011.

The Swellers have released a brand new song. The track is titled “Red Lights” and will be part of their upcoming new 7″, Vehicle City Blues, due out on May 29th through Side One Dummy Records. The band also plans to self-release an EP later this year, before signing with a new label sometime in 2013.
