To commemorate their induction this year into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to release a digital-only EP, entitled We Salute You, on May 1st via Warner Bros. Records.
The six-song EP is full of other Hall of Fame inductees: The Ramones, Iggy & The Stooges, Neil Young, David Bowie, The Beach Boys, and Dion and the Belmonts.

Red Hot Chili Peppers were inducted by Chris Rock at the 27th annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, which took place on Saturday, April 14th, 2012, in Cleveland.
The band will also be kicking off a world tour next week in support of last year’s I’m With You - the dates are below as well.
Red Hot Chili Peppers have released released a brand new music video. The video features the song “Look Around” and is from their latest full length, I’m With You. The video features “interactive” content for viewers.
Red Hot Chili Peppers regretfully announced this week that they will be forced to postpone the start of their upcoming US tour due to multiple foot injuries sustained by lead singer, Anthony Keidis. The singer recently underwent surgery to repair a crushed sesamoid bone and a detached flexor tendon in his foot. He is expected to make a full recovery.
The band is touring in support of their Grammy-nominated album, I’m With You.

The Los Angeles, California based multi-platinum rock band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, will launch the North American leg of their I’m With You World Tour in January of 2012. The 2012 arena tour will be the band’s first full-scale tour in the U.S. since 2007.
Red Hot Chili Peppers are currently touring Europe through mid-December in support of I’m With You which debuted at No. 2 on Billboard‘s Top 200 Albums chart and No. 1 on Billboard‘s Rock and Alternative album charts, and the Top Internet Albums and iTunes Top Alternative Albums chart. The first single “The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie” hit the top spot at Modern Rock radio, giving the band its 12th No. 1 song. A second single, “Monarchy of the Roses” is currently the No. 2 greatest gainer on Mediabase’s Alternative chart.
Red Hot Chili Peppers announced that, as of today, it will release professional-quality recordings of each show on its current and upcoming tours in support of the band’s latest album I’m With You. Fans will be able to download the recordings in MP3, CD-quality FLAC, or iTunes-friendly Apple Lossless formats within two to three days of each show at the band’s website.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers is streaming their upcoming new full-length a week before its official release date. The album, entitled I’m With You, through a variety of Global Listening Parties yesterday, and is now available for streaming via iTunes up until August 29, 2011.

Celebrating their first record in over five years, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform their upcoming release I’m With You (Warner Bros.) in its entirety on its release day, August 30. The concert, happening in Cologne, Germany, will be broadcast in more than 450 movie theaters in the U.S., and will be captured in high-definition.

Multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers have unveiled that they will release their10th studio album, I’m With You, on Warner Bros. Records on August 30, 2011.
The album was recorded at East West In Los Angeles and Shangri-la in Malibu, CA, with long time producer Rick Rubin. Rubin previously work on the band’s last five albums, 2006’s Stadium Arcadium, 2002’s By The Way, 1999’s Californication, 1995’s One Hot Minute, and 1991’s Blood Sugar Sex Magik. The album was mixed by Andrew Scheps and Greg Fidelman.
I’m With You is the band’s first new album since the two-set Stadium Arcadium in 2006.
Red Hot Chili Peppers will headline at Japan’s Summer Sonic Festival in Osaka on August 13th and in Tokyo on August 14th. They will also headline at the Rock in Rio Festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on September 24th.
