High Dive has launched a full album stream of their upcoming new album over on PunkNews. The album serves as the band’s self-titled debut, which was released earlier this week via No Idea Records.
No Idea Records is celebrating the addition of their newest member of their ever growing family, High Dive, by giving away a free song. The song is titled “Tennessee” and is set to appear on the band’s upcoming self-titled full length due out December 14, 2011 on CD and LP. The project is the product of Defiance, Ohio‘s the ever industrious Ryan Woods.

The new LP, which follows up 2010′s EP Indoor Voices, sees the light on September 20th, 2011, with the stream coming courtesy Alternative Press.
Michigan’s duo Shores is sampling a brand new song from their forthcoming full length. The track is titled “Faith Hill” and is schedueld to appear on To Volstead, which is set for an October 4, 2011 release via No Idea Records.

Florida’s Hot Water Music, who are releasing a new album on Rise Records soon, are also set to release a new live album culled from their reunion shows in 2008. The performance was recorded by No Idea Records who then created a 7” series. Six volumes in total were made over 2010 and 2011 with each volume beinglimited to 1,000 copies and sold out immediately leaving many folks empty handed.
Now No Idea and Hot Water Music are taking the best version of every song they played at The Metro in Chicago on February 1st & 2nd, 2008 and putting them together for a a 30-song, 90-minute live journey through the band’s history in your choice of three formats: 3xLP, die-cut, wide-spine jacket with printed inner sleeves, 2xCD and digital.
The record will be available on September 27th. The vinyl color variations will be announced on release date and there will be no pre-order for this collection!
The Huffington Post have posted a new song off the upcoming Hot Water Music 7″ EP called “The Fire, The Steel, The Tread“.
Digital versions of the EP will be available for download August 2nd, while vinyl preorders will start August 15th via No Idea, Chunksaah, and Hot Water Music.
The good folks at Amp Magazine are streaming Sunderland UK’s Leatherface‘s brand new live album. The double disc offering is entitled Viva La Arthouse and includes a total of 19 songs. The album is set for an imminent July 2011 release via No Idea Records.
The album features the Melbourne set from their 2010 Stormy Petrel World Tour, which saw the band perform on stage in Canada, America, Japan and Australia. The record itself was was recorded and mixed at Melbourne’s famous music venue The Arthouse by Poison City Record’s Matt Bodiam.
Magnet Magazine has posted the new Seaweed 7″ single for streaming. No Idea plans to release Service Deck/The Weight on July 4th, which will mark the first release since the band’s 1998 full-length Actions and Indications.

No Idea Records has launched a full album stream for Small Brown Bike‘s latest full length released earlier this week, Fell And Found. The album marks the group’s first new material since 2003′s The River Bed, and first time the original four members have recorded together since 1999′s Our Own Wars. The album features 11 new songs recorded at Million Yen Studios in Chicago, IL under JJ Robbins. Frontman Mike Reed, describes the band’s feelings approaching release:
“This record brings together everything we’ve done as a band, but still feels new. We didn’t over think things and just had fun making music again. We’ve written 20 or so songs since we got back together and these are some of our favorites… Recording with J was something we’ve always wanted to do. It was such an honor to make it happen. He put in long days and kept the ship running smoothly. It was gratifying to come full circle and still have fun in the studio with your best friends. We owe a lot of that to J.”
Hot Water Music guitarist Chris Wollard has released his latest solo EP on No Idea Records. The release is a collaboration between Chris Wollard and current tour mate Addison Burns, and features four tracks under the moniker Lil Bitta. The two are currently in the midst of their Australian tour with Tim Barry.
