UK based emo punks Goodtime Boys have announced that their debut full length will be released on May 5th, 2014 via Bridge 9 Records. The record, titled Rain, was recorded in Southampton by Lewin Johns (now a full time member of the band) and is some of the most aggressive and melodic songs the band have ever wrote. Bassist Leigh McAndrew has said “Rain is a bit different from our older stuff and represents the changes our band has gone through over the last year or so”.
For fans who can’t wait until May for new material, there is good news as the band have a 7″ release titled Things I Still Don’t Understand they are planning to drop on February 25th (also via Bridge 9). This will contain one song from the upcoming full length in addition to a cover of Billy Bragg’s Tank Park Salute.
