EXCLUSIVE Video Premiere – The Tracy’s ‘ I Hate Dancing’
We here at thepunksite are thrilled to be able to premiere I Hate Dancing, the latest video from NYC punks The Tracy’s. The black and white affair was directed by Benoit Gabriel (an award winning commercial director), and features dancing by Cara Weinberger, Maria Wojciechowski, and Brie Helmuth.
The band themselves had this to say about the video and why they refer to themselves as ‘the worst boy band in the world’
“We’re punk rock musicians; if we’re not violently bashing into each other, we’re standing in the back drinking. Dancing? Not so much. The “I Hate Dancing” video, our the second project with director Benoit Gabriel, puts our sense of humor, and fun-loving nature on display. This video documents our futile efforts to learn some dance moves, and cements our legacy as the worst boy band in the world.”
The track is features on the quartet’s latest full length Humdinger, released on March 23rd (available to purchase via their bandcamp) and they have a number of upcoming shows in support of the LP’s release.
