Indie punkers The Sidekicks have announced that they will be hitting the road for a June tour kicking off in late May. Delay and Spraynard will accompany them on most dates. The Sidekicks released their third full length, Awkward Breeds, earlier this year on Red Scare Records.

Grammy nominated San Diego metal act, AS I LAY DYING, announce Bill Stevenson as producer for their next album this May! Bill Stevenson has played drums for both the Descendentsand Black Flag and is one of the most highly renowned producers. Stevenson’s production credits include work on records by Rise Against, NOFX, Propagandhi, The Casualties, Anti-Flag and many more. As I Lay Dying will record this spring with the album release date expected in the second half of 2012. The new album will serve as the official follow up to 2010′s successful The Powerless Rise.

Lemuria has announced that the indie-pop-punk group will be heading to the UK this summer. The group will hit the United Kingdom on July 31st with their last show wrapping up on August 6th. Bassist Max Gregor comments:
“Last summer, we set about a full UK/European tour with our friends Cheap Girls which turned out to be an amazing tour. Unfortunately, we were forced to cancel our London show due to the 2011 England Riots. Additionally, we were unable to perform at the Hevy Fest music festival/in the Kent region due to other circumstances. We are using this tour as an opportunity to make that up to our friends in London and Kent as well as a few select other towns across the UK.”
Nick 13 has announced a couple of upcoming solo shows. Triple Chicken Foot and The Far West will be offering support. He continues to support his previous pull length, released last year on Sugar Hill Records.
Virginia thrash punk act Minicipal Waste has announced that they will be heading on tour at the end of May. The band continues to support their recent full length, The Fatal Feast, available now on Nuclear Blast Records.
Rockford, IL’sJoie De Vivre has announced a string of European tour dates. The tour ill kick off on June 13 in Prague, and wrap up on July 9th in germany. Labelmates Football, etc. will offer support for most of the UK dates. The band continues to support their new album, We’re All Better Than This, due out in June on Count Your Lucky Stars Records.
Orange County, CA hardcore punk veterans Death By Stereo have announced the dates for their upcoming headlining tour of Canada and the U.S. They are touring in support of their sixth full-length studio album, “Black Sheep of the American Dream”, which was released onViking Funeral Records late last month.
Vocalist Efrem Schulz talked about the tour:
“This North American tour has been a long time coming and we can’t wait to get back out and see all of the DBS family out there on the road. We’ll also get back to Canada on this tour for some poutine and great beer, and where the fans have always been great to us. We are excited to get out and play new songs and get thrashed with all our friends to the old jams,. The reaction to the new record has been fantastic and fans loved the bank heist we did in the ‘Growing Numb’ video. We even got a surprise appearance from our good friend and legendary pro skater Fabrizio Santos! Can’t wait to get out on the road and play it live for everyone. DEATH FOR LIFE!”
Reggae group The Dirty Heads has announced that the band will be heading out for a tour with Matisyahu along with a handful of dates in support of Sublime With Rome. The group continues to promote their debut album, Any Port In A Storm, and are gearing up for the release of their follow-up, Cabin by The Sea, due out June 19, 2012 via Five Seven Music.
Beginning this Saturday, May 19th, One Win Choice will embark on a month-long trek across Europe in support of its latest full-length, Conveyor, which was released in late 2011 by Jump Start Records. Joining the five piece on tour will be label mates Astpai.

Mastodon have announced plans for an European tour, performing both major festivals, including Pinkpop, Sonisphere, and Nova Rock, as well as headlining shows beginning May 23rd and continuing through the end of June. They will also perform at both the Reading and Leeds Festivals in the U.K. in August.
Mastodon are touring in support of their critically acclaimed current album The Hunter, which entered the Billboard Top 200 Album chart in the Top 10 and found its way onto several Year End/Best Of critics’ lists. The band travels to Europe a few days after performing at this year’s Rock on the Range Festival on May 20th.
Southern California based rock band Nations Afire have made an explosive debut with the new single “I Am An Army,” from their forthcoming full-length album, The Ghosts We Will Become, which is due out later this year.
Nations Afire are a four-piece band that features current and former members of some of the most influential punk and hardcore bands from the past decade. Guitarist Chris Chasse has an impressive resume that includes a tenure with Rise Against (Siren Song of the Counter Culture ‘04 and The Sufferer & the Witness ’06). Vocalist/guitarist Nik Hill and bassist Brett Rasmussen are both long standing members of the Orange County hardcore outfit Ignite and drummer Todd Hennig was the percussive force behind Death By Stereo for three albums. Recorded at the legendary Blasting Room Recording Studios (Rise Against, NOFX, Propagandhi) in Ft. Collins, Colorado. “I Am An Army” is the first single from The Ghosts We Will Become, which will be released later this year. Utilizing years of experience writing, recording and touring with elite punk bands, Nations Afire meld their unique styles of punk, rock and hardcore resulting in an intense blend of fist pumping rock.

Blink 182 have canceled their May 2012 North American tour dates due to a medical emergency as drummer Travis Barker required an urgent tonsillectomy with a recovery period expected to extend beyond the scheduled tour dates.
The May 10th and 11th concerts at the Winstar Casino in Thackerville, OK have been rescheduled for September 13 and 14, 2012. All previously issued tickets will be honored on the new dates respectively. Refunds are available at point of purchase. The rest of the dates, which can be seen below, are cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
The cancellation does not effect their European tour this summer.
Replacing them at the Bamboozle Festival in Asbury Park, NJ will be My Chemical Romance.
Newly reformed hardcore band Verse has announced details about their upcoming fourth album. The full length will be titled Bitter Clarity, Uncommon Grace and is set for a July 17, 2012 release via Bridge Nine Records. Vocalist Sean Murphy describes the album as:
“[musically dynamic and lyrically poignant, focusing on a storyline that is] …completely human. The concept is set of life lessons shown to us by the life of a universal mother to all, wrapped in uncertainty and contradiction, and personal firsthand accounts of struggles of family and friends throughout my life.”
