Jukebox The Ghost Streaming Sophomore Album On Spinner

Indie pop group Jukebox The Ghost is streaming their freshly released full length, Everything Under The Sun (Yep Rock Records), via Spinner’s weekly new release listening party. The album serves as the band’s follow up to 2008 debut, Let Live And Let Ghosts. Last week the band premiered their new song “Schizophrenia” on the Late Show with David Letterman, which can be viewed on CBC’s website.

Amp Magazine Streaming Cause A Scene Compilation

Amp Magazine is streaming the recently announced Bight & Barrow Records compilation, Cause A Scene Vol. 1. The compilation features 22 racks of NYC/NJ-area punk bands, and is available digitally through the label’s recently revamped website. To mark the album’s release, Brooklyn’s Up For Nothing and Step Aside will be playing with NYC’s The Tattle Tales and Jersey City’s Banquets at Arlene’s Grocery on September 3, 2010. For those outside of the New York area, Real Punk Radio will be streaming the show live for global audiences.

The Thermals Streaming Upcoming Album

Portland, OR’s The Thermals are streaming their upcoming album, Personal Life, over on NPR. The album serves as their follow up to 2009′s Now We Can See, and will likewise be released on Kill Rock Stars.

Bad Religion – The Resist Stance

Bad Religion have released a new song from their highly aniticpated new studio album, The Dissent of Man. The track, The Resist Stance, is now streaming on the band’s MySpace Page.

The record will be released on September 28th, 2010 through Epitaph Records and is the band’s fifteethn studio album in their thrity year career. The Dissent of Man will also mark the first time since its formation in 1979 that a Bad Religion line-up has not changed in four consecutive studio recordings.

Grabass Charlestons/Toys That Kill Split streaming At Ampmagazine

Gainesville’s Grabass Charlestons have joined forces with long time west coast comrades Toys That Kill to release of a split LP of all new material for No Idea Records, which is now up for stream over on Amp Magazine’s website.

The band recently returned from a two week tour where they closed out run with a performance at this year’s Best Friends Day in Richmond, VA.

VRGNS Streaming New Album

Orlando’s VRGNS is streaming their new album, Manimals, over on their Punknews profile. The album is set for release on Kiss of Death Records on August 31, 2010. VRGNS are scheduled to appear at THE FEST 9 in Gainesville, FL over Halloween week.

Connecticut’s Hostage Calm have put their entire self-titled album up on their BandCamp page for streaming (or purchase for eight dollars). The album came out on July 20 through Run For Cover Records and follows 2008’s Lens which was released on Redscroll Records.
