Cut Teeth To Release Vinyl EP on Topshelf Records

Cut Teeth has announced that they will be releasing their brand new EP on vinyl. The EP is titled Televandalism, and is set for a July 24, 2012 release via Topshelf Records. This version will include an exclusive bonus track and artwork by Ben Sears.

Costa Joins Run For Cover Records

Run For Cover Records has welcomes Long Island’s Costa to their family. The label intends to release the band’s debut, a five song self-titled EP, on Vinyl later this summer.

The EP is currently available for streaming and digital purchase via Bandcamp.

East Bay’s The Atom Age has launched a full album stream of their upcoming release, The Hottest Thing That’s Cool, over on DyingScene. Give the full disc a spin here.

The album, which will be released on Asian Man Records, is due out on May 29th. The record can be pre-ordered here and the the first 100 orders come with the band’s first release, Kill Surf City, on vinyl.

Nations Afire Debut First Single From New Album

Southern California based rock band Nations Afire have made an explosive debut with the new single “I Am An Army,” from their forthcoming full-length album, The Ghosts We Will Become, which is due out later this year.

Nations Afire are a four-piece band that features current and former members of some of the most influential punk and hardcore bands from the past decade. Guitarist Chris Chasse has an impressive resume that includes a tenure with Rise Against (Siren Song of the Counter Culture ‘04 and The Sufferer & the Witness ’06). Vocalist/guitarist Nik Hill and bassist Brett Rasmussen are both long standing members of the Orange County hardcore outfit Ignite and drummer Todd Hennig was the percussive force behind Death By Stereo for three albums. Recorded at the legendary Blasting Room Recording Studios (Rise Against, NOFX, Propagandhi) in Ft. Collins, Colorado. “I Am An Army” is the first single from The Ghosts We Will Become, which will be released later this year. Utilizing years of experience writing, recording and touring with elite punk bands, Nations Afire meld their unique styles of punk, rock and hardcore resulting in an intense blend of fist pumping rock.

Drug Church Debut “Mohawk” From Self-Titled EP

Disaffected punk weirdos Drug Church announce plans to release their debut self-titled EP via No Sleep Records on July 10. The EP will be available digitally and on 7” vinyl which can be pre-ordered here. Fans can check out the first track, “Mohawk”, featuring guest vocals by Jeremy Bolm (Touche Amore), streaming now at Altpress.com.

Consisting of vocalist Patrick Kindlon (End of A Year, Self Defense Family), Chris Villeneuve (drums), Nick Cogan (guitar), Cory Galusha (guitar) and Pat Wynne (bass). It’s what happens when you strip any pretense from music and are left with a room full of dudes with weird bodies and tenuous futures as the band fully embraces its hardcore-dudes-trying-to-play-alt-rock influences. No heavy trips about how you should live. No white-guy slam poetry about love. Just music you can pushpit and stagedive to so you can forget for a moment that you have eczema and work at Pizza Hut.
