After featuring in AP’s Most Anticipated 2012, The Menzingers have revealed that they have been working with Matt Allison (Alkaline Trio, Less Than Jake) on their highly anticipated new album, which is to be released through Epitaph early next year. Co-frontman Tom May commented:
“We’ve spent more time on the writing and recording processes of this record than anything we’ve done in the past. The songs are a little more thought out and we’re really happy with the results. We got our hands on a few guitar pedals and fucked around with some studio tricks. There’s a few more mid-tempo jams and some stuff we always wanted to do but haven’t had the time or the togetherness to pull off. Overall, we had a blast and Matt Allison really brought the best out of us. I can’t wait for our friends to hear it.”
