Alexisonfire Announce New EP Details

Alexisonfire has announced details regarding their followup to 2009’s Old Crows/Young Cardinals.  The release will take the form of an EP titled Dog’s Blood, and has a street date of November 2, 2010 via Dine Alone Records (Canada)/Vagrant (US)/Roadrunner (Japan, Europe).

The album features four tracks that co-vocalist Dallas Green has been quoted saying “They’re completely different-sounding songs and would probably never make it onto a full-length record.”  Co-produced by Alexisonfire and Jon Drew (F*cked Up, Tokyo Police Club, Quest For Fire, Arkells) the EP features three vocal tracks and one instrumental.  None of these tracks have even been performed live.

Dog’s Blood will have a run limited to 2000 vinyl records available in three different colours.  Different colours will be available at different vendors: one colour will be sold through the labels, one colour via the band’s official online store , and one colour will be sold on tour as merchandise.  Check out the track listing below.
