North American ska did not die! It's just not mainstream. There are great ska bands from the 2000s.

North American ska did not die after the 90's, in all the bands Tomas Kalnoky has been in, every single song has been amazing. Since the beginning in his band Gimp (which isn't really ska, but more Punk) to Catch 22 (Kalnoky was only in the first EP and album, which I prefer over the other albums in which Kalnoky left the band) to Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution (which sadly only had one album) to Streetlight Manifesto (which i prefer the most) with their unique sound had just been truly addicting.
